SuperMoon

This month we are going to visit a remote location in the harbour area of Rotterdam. We are visiting the Slufter. The slufter is on the border of the Maasvlakte 1 and 2.
The Slufter is very deep pit shielded form the surrounding areas where toxic waste and polluted sand is stored. Nothing we have to worry about it’s completely safe to walk and be in the surrounding area’s. There is a big fence around the pit to make sure nobody will fall down. Around that pit there is an area with al kinds of nature and views, there is a beach and dunes. On top of the pit next to the fence we have a beautiful view of the Port of Rotterdam.
We gather at the entrance of the road to the Slufter next to the N15 highway. The road is called Noordzeebouldevard. From there we are driving to the location up hill. We have an almost full moon so I hope there are not that many clouds so it will be a clear sky and no rain.
Sunset is at 22:04 so I would like to use the golden hour to start making photo’s with some daylight I would like to be on location around 21:00, so we gather at 20:30.
If we have left the meeting start point please call me on my mobile then I will let you know where we are.
The meeting location is pretty remote so public transport will be kind of difficult not to so impossible.
TIP! Please make sure you have enough full in you fuel tank, we are in the middle of nowhere after all, there is NO gas station in the surrounding area as far as we know.
Please bring your tripod, a torch light and some warm clothes as well we are on an open location where the wind has free game, so it could be quite chilly. You definitely going to need them.
