49 meters high and a light range of 29 nautical miles. This is a moving light with a view. It’s been around since 1875. This 12 sided, red, cast iron tower is the lighthouse of Scheveningen.

We’re visiting this Rijksmonument this month. A great chance to explore this huge moving light, enjoy the great view and have permission to do some photographing a well!

This moving light is only moving at two light flashes per 10 seconds. Slow shutter times that is!! At night that is… :-/

Because they arranged a guide especially for us (yeah!), we have to pay a small fee (app. 2 euros per person).
