Mirror Magic

For February’s photowalk we focus on the Mirror Magic theme. We’ll be looking for reflections from mirrors, shopping & car windows, ponds & fountains and the nearby klongs (rivers).

The tour starts at the Westerkerk, from there we walk towards the Noordermarkt. To test the creativity we take a number of mirrors with us.

The ships are gone and the sounds of hard labor are a thing of the past. This month we are going to have a look at the docks of the old RDM (Rotterdamse Droogdok Maatschappij) at what once was.

Meetingpoint for februari is the fishermen’s monument ‘The Scheveningen Woman’ (Keizerstraat, near the church). What does she see? A sea like a mirror, a rough sea? We’ll be looking for some mirror magic in Scheveningen in februari.

At the Rabobank building and water in the channel is where we go looking for spectacular specular effects.

Reflective windows, shadows, puddles, dressing rooms …. We leave it up to you!

We walk through the center using shop windows and shiny office buildings as our object.
